About Linda Lee Gates

Linda Lee is a seasoned real estate professional with deep roots in the Tampa Bay area. Originally from South Mississippi, she came to St. Petersburg in 1996 to attend Eckerd College where she graduated with a degree in Environmental Studies. She fell in love with St. Petersburg the moment she arrived. After brief periods living in San Diego and Mississippi, Linda Lee returned to St. Petersburg in 2001, drawn by the city’s unique charm and vibrant community.  

Linda Lee has called St. Pete home ever since and started a family in 2010 with the birth of her son and then her daughter in 2015. Motherhood has not only taught her patience but has also given her a firsthand understanding of what families need in a home, helping her connect deeply with her clients’ priorities.  

Before transitioning to real estate, Linda Lee built a strong foundation in problem-solving as an analytical chemist and supervisor at an environmental laboratory. In that role, she developed a detail-oriented mindset and the ability to find creative solutions to complex challenges—skills Linda Lee now brings to every real estate transaction. Additionally, her marriage to a construction professional has given her a robust understanding of residential and commercial construction fundamentals. This unique combination of expertise allows her to help clients envision a property’s full potential.  

In 2024, Linda Lee expanded her professional portfolio by becoming a Florida State Certified Residential Appraiser. This role has deepened her knowledge of pricing strategies and market trends, enabling her to provide clients with informed, data-driven advice when buying or selling their homes.  

Linda Lee specializes in St. Petersburg’s historic neighborhoods, including Old Southeast, Old Northeast, Lakewood Estates, Kenwood, Crescent Lake, and Euclid St. Paul, as well as the rapidly developing downtown area. With a strong affinity for the city’s southern neighborhoods, she excels at connecting buyers and sellers and navigating complex transactions.
